Les Mortimer

Les is highly experienced in real estate marketing and sales. He is proficient in all market conditions, and his career sales are in excess of half a billion dollars. Les says, “This can only be achieved by referrals and repeat sales from valued and satisfied clients.”

He firmly believes the very best person to sell your property is the one who has listed it. They hold all the knowledge about the property, have a comprehensive relationship with the vendor(s) and purchaser(s), and are in the most effective position to negotiate a premium result in the shortest time frame.

Les’ property sales career began in Invercargill, where he was the top salesperson in an office of six, which was the largest real estate agency in Invercargill at the time. He later joined Southland Real Estate as one of the company’s inaugural team members. The company quickly became a dominant force in the real estate market, and Les enjoyed several successful years with them before relocating to Mosgiel with his family.

From Mosgiel, Les established his own real estate company with a dedicated focus on investment property. This included both residential sales and a significant volume of syndicated commercial and industrial property, which ultimately led to the business being sold to a syndicator.

Following this, Les returned to residential real estate marketing and sales in the greater Dunedin and Mosgiel area—a sector he particularly enjoys and excels at.
